Good oil and good filter.
I've done about 4 or 5 oil changes with this same kit for my M340i. The filter in this kit changed from MANN to UFI at one point. UFI was seemingly unknown to many people and deemed "cheap". If you do your research, you'll find that UFI filter is original equipment and UFI even makes the oil filter housing for BMWs. Good stuff.

Missing Crush Washer - Ddidnt find out until after drain
This was such a frustrating process. The crappy oil filter did not come with the new crush washer and I didn’t realize until after the car was already drained. Good oil though.

Unfounded oil filter concerns
I recently used this kit for 2017 340xdrive and 2021 x3 m40i. No issues. Please note the provided oil filter UFI 2525200 seems to be OEM for the BMW branded filter when the end caps are studied. Both are UFI made in Tunisia filters with same 2525200 number. NB UFI is also indicated on both cars oil filter caps!

FCPEuro changed the filter
After several years of buying from FCP Euro, I’m really disappointed today. Their oil change kits have been really convenient for me; all I needed to do was go into my account and re-order. No fuss, no confusion, and I’m ready to change oil. But not this time. They have decided to go to a different (likely cheaper) oil filter. Now, that might not be the end of the world, assuming the quality is there. However, when I opened the filter box to inspect it, I was surprised to find that this one doesn’t include a drain crush washer. So, either they save money by skipping that small part (and leaving me to either source one myself or risk leaks) OR they skimped on quality control and simply forgot the washer in this one. Either way, it doesn’t leave me confident in what I’m getting. It also doesn’t leave me in a position to simply go change my oil like I planned. Basically, this seems like a silly way to save a buck or two.

perfect kit comes with everything you need, beats going to the dealer paying 4 times the price for standard a oil change.
Car runs goes on liquid moly.
