We hit record heat in Texas 2022 Summer. This was a direct replacement for my OEM and O even coded it in on my obdeleven. Nope. It could not handle the 100+ heat. Failed to start numerous times. Trying out a Die Hard Platinum AGM now. If that cannot carry the load, I am going to have to go back to the OEM Germans.

Best battery for your car
An Odyssey pure lead AGM is a great long lasting American made battery for your car. Quality car batteries are increasingly more difficult to find. I have this in two of my cars as soon as the third car needs a battery it will get an Odyssey too.

This battery can take a beating
I've had a short circuit in my car for about 9 months now. This puts the battery under constant load, bringing it down to 10V when I leave it sitting for a bit too long (more if I let it). Even when it's in the 10 - 11V range, it still starts my car with considerable power after a few attempts. I've only had it for a year but it's gone through more recharge-discharge cycles than it's probably designed for at this stage in its life and it's performing admirably.

Great quality. Worked like a champ. Let's see it beat the Texas heat! I hope this battery will give me at least 4 years. Will write an updated review in the coming years.
