This scanner only reads body control module and OBD2 faults, live streams data PIDS, and clears fault codes. It cannot clear/write control module info or perform any special functions or tests.

Hi guys, will this read air conditioning error codes and does it have the ability to erase any stored codes from previous readings/tests?
Answer (Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
This scanner is not capable of reading HVAC system faults. It's primarily designed to read ABS and drivetrain related faults only. The MX808 would be capable of reading all body control modules present in a vehicle.

Will this reset the adaptations for my transmission on a 2005 bmw 545i
Answer (Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
No, this scan tool can only read and delete fault codes. It cannot erase/reset adaptation values. A more sophisticated scan tool such as the MX808 would be able to do that.
