Seems to work well, but now the fitting with the windshield washer hose connector leaks (this part fits onto the outlet on the pump). So I bought a new hose connector but it's not as easy as just replacing it because one side of the connector goes to a hose which looks like it all needs to be replaced because it's hard plastic - not seemingly feasible to just pull it off without breaking it. .

Good quality! I tried a cheaper unit off e-bay. It looked the same, but the the fittings were slightly undersized compared to original and lacked the little nub on the output tube, as a result, it leaked, even when not under pressure (just head pressure of the tank). Not, this unit looks identical to the headlight washer pump, located just above it, but it is not. I'm guessing maybe that pump is a higher output, so they designed the electrical connector to be different.

Worked perfectly in my 2004 e46 m3. Ensure you buy BMW-61667006063 grommet at the same time to avoid future leaks.

FCP Euro is the most reliable source of parts for my E39. I tried a few before but hands down this is the best.

It fits correctly, but the wiring clip does not "snap" like other BMW electrical parts. I re-inserted it, and hear a humming noise. The intensive cleaning and head lamp pump works. I will check the wiring before I make a final judgement as this is a 20 year old car.
