I get the code P0299 check engine light on …
Can I replace this valve everything was fixed it…. Old Valve was broken and oil leaks on electric connectors….

This piston style Diverter valve is superior to the OE diaphragm style my 2.0L BPY motor came equipped with. The bolts can be a little challenging to access (especially the top) on my MK5 GTI but a stubby socket and patience go a long way. Very satisfied with this upgrade/repair

Decided to order Pierburg because of the good reviews. Had to order two because the first one's box was smashed and part was broken. The next box, the same thing with the smashed box, the part was cracked but was able to use. Didn't return because I didn't have time for it. Will not buy this part again. Giving it 3 stars because FCP is a good parts store just don't know what happened with my packages this time.
