Did DIY fluid change for my Mk6 GTI with this kit. I love that it comes with 6L and my DSG shifts noticeably smoother with this fluid. Will definitely buy again next service, and with the Lifetime Guarantee from FCP you really can’t go wrong with this kit over the competitors!

Not as good as the febi fluid
This feels exactly like the fluid the dealer uses (felt slushy compared to the factory fill after the dealer's 40k service, 50k mechatronics replacement, 80k, 120k until I diy'd it.). My transmission does not feel as good as it did when I used Febi fluid, it feels like the difference between the factory fill and dealer fluid. I think the Febi fluid must have a grippier formulation. I'll use it next time. But maybe my observation is heresay and the transmission is just getting old!

I have not yet performed the service on the 2013 Golf TDI. But I've used LIQUI MOLY 8100 in the past on other VW DSG models. Great stuff!

Bought it because I was having DSG issues on a 170k mile A3 8P, hoping it would solve them. Issue was something reverse wouldn't engage, and the 2-1 downshift clunked. Unfortunately it did not resolve the issue but it did make the shifts smoother over the previous fluid I used (Whatever I was able to get from Advance Auto). Came with everything I need, and was my into to FCP Service Kits, and why I use them for all fluids now.
