I have a 2019 BMW 440i xDrive with limited slip diff. Can i use this diff oil? If not which oil can i use? It says "Position: Rear Differential, Fully synthetic hypoid gear oil G1 for cars with non-limited slip diff axle"
Answer (Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
This oil is non-compatible with limited slip differentials, this can only be used with open differentials.

Hello, How are You? my car is a 2017 bmw 650ix convertible. How much capacity do I need to change the differential oil? This car is a four-wheel drive, do I have to exchange each front and back?
Answer (Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
Sure it would be wise to service both at the same time. Likely 2 bottles will be enough, but please contact service@fcpeuro.com with your VIN to confirm capacities for your vehicle.

2016 340xdrive, i know it works for the rear and i will need to syphon it, but it should work for the front as well right? What quantity i need if i would like to replace the fluid on both differentials ? Thank you so much !
Answer (Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
This oil is correct for both the front and rear differentials on your 2016 340i xDrive. 2 liters should be enough to service both. It may be helpful to have extra on hand though.

2015 BMW 435i X-Drive. To flush the rear differential, the amount required is 2 liters correct?
Answer (Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
Less than 2 liters is used in total but you would need to order two of these 1-quart bottles. Please note your BMW's rear differential does not have a drain plug and fluid will need to be siphoned out via the fill hole on the differential cover.
Question Posted by Vladimir
Is this the exact oil for a 2015 BMW 528I F10? Other websites give a different compatibility oil for this model.
Answer (Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
This is 100% compatible for your year and model. From 7/2011 onward BMW switched from a conventional 75W90 differential gear oil to a hypoid gear oil. BMW refers to this oil as Hypoid G1 which is a 75W85 gear oil. Red Line specifically cross references this gear oil to the BMW specifications which can be found under OEM Compatibility on Red Line's website: https://www.redlineoil.com/75w85-gl-5-gear-oil
