Timing tensioner tap is gone!
I have been using the OEM engine oil and OEM oil filter religiously throughout my ownership of my ‘13 C300 every 5k. That is about 82k. I’m at 93k now. I have been tolerating the infamous tensioner tapping on cold start up for a good 50k or more. Planned to buy the update kit sold here to fix it as I don’t like hearing that noise and worry about oil starvation. At my last oil change, the OEM oil was unavailable so I decided to go with this oil temporarily. Shortly after, my rear subframe failed so I had to park the car waiting to repair. Once a week I start the car up to run 30 min or so to keep the battery healthy and make sure everything in the engine stays lubricated and in good shape. I didn’t pay much attention to it at first but I realize now after a little while the tensioner tap went away!! Very happy about it! I’m going to do the liqui moly engine flush and the cera tec treatment and try their “new gen” oil as supposedly it’s a little better and see what happens. I’ll still do the tensioner kit though for security. I plan to keep the car a lot longer and put more miles on it. If your on the fence about this oil, DON’T BE!!!

Quality Product
The oil comes out smooth which is proof of how nice this liquid molly is. Worth every penny, ordering a kit every time I get something from fcp euro. Cause of their oil I always order two items, this oil kit and something else to make the shipping worth it. It's like the hot dog Costco runs lol, gets you to buy more. Top quality prodcut.

Good choice
I called LiquiMoly's help line and they recommended the Leichtlauf over the lighter weight variants of VW5002 spec oil for my 2.0L TSI engine with 130k miles...seemed to burn off a little less oil between changes as the Pentosin 5W30 I was using prior, so that was a plus. But that's just anecdotal I suppose. I can always try something else with FCP's lifetime warranty FTW...

Reduced Lifter Tick (M54 BMW)
This oil, in combination with Liqui Moly's Engine Flush, reduced my lifter tick on cold start. I didn't notice a difference in noise until ~2 weeks after the oil change and engine flush. I let my car idle for the maximum 15 minutes during the engine flush. I will certainly be using Liqui Moly for the foreseeable future on my E46, and my wife's E92 with N52 to prevent the same lifter tick.
