Quiet, no burn, smooth
Im not sure whether is me or the car, After owning my e39 straight six engine for 2 years ands switched multiple oil brands from mobil castrol to this liquid moly. i felt this straight six accelerate like slippery cream. It just keep flowing and gliding through all the rpm despite my engine has 196k miles. Definitely have to try this!

Should have switched earlier
2011 BMW E92 328 (N-52) 6-spd, 55k miles, Southern California. I've always used BMW brand 5w-30 oil; first the factory BMW/Castrol, later the replacement BMW/Shell. I'm the original owner, and the car has never used a single drop of oil between changes; although I do adhere to a 5-6000-mile interval. BMW seems to be making a switch to the 0W- oils, probably in the interest of fuel savings; but I don't feel comfortable using an oil with a viscosity rating that low in a warmer climate. After searching for LL-01-rated oils and reading some Liqui Moly reviews, I decided to give it a try. They are a German company producing some of the highest-rated lubricants available. I chose 5W-40 for a little added protection because I often drive in ambient temps over 100F during the summer months. I didn't expect much of a difference, but all I can say is "wow!". The engine is noticeably quieter on cold starts, and my oil temperature (according to the gauge) runs an average of 10 degrees (F) cooler...no joke!. FYI, this oil is sold in liters, not quarts, so adjust accordingly if you're used to buying oil in quart bottles. (6.5L ≈ 7qt)

Liqui Moly Leichtlauf 5W40
I used this oil for the first time and it worked GREAT in my 99 E300TD, I highly recommend it to others. I support those who sponsor my favorite race teams.
