Use it once, and you'll be frustrated
I've been disappointed with both versions of the CTA spark plug socket. This one with the rubber grip, is so tight on the body that the driver pops out of the socket before the socket comes off the plug. Required me to get long needle nose pliers and take the socket off the plug.

Bought this to change out the spark plugs on my 340i and it extracts the spark plugs with no issues

This socket made quick work of the tune up. Without this, I would have not been able to complete the service.

Definitely help with the tune up. Only thing when you install the plug and tried to take off the socket . The extension would unplug from the socket still on the spark plug. No biggie remove the ring to tighten .
