Volkswagen Wheel Parts

Volkswagen is the top auto market leader in Germany and third leading manufacturer across the globe. VW has had three of their automobile lines in the top 10-bestseller list and maintains producing these vehicles in their current line. The VW brand ranks third in putting forth the most money in the entire industry toward researching and developing of new automobiles. They also have an expansive line with high quality products, and more specifically, with their wheel parts and components. All Volkswagen’s will have a suggested inflation pressure sticker that provides the proper pressure for regular and heavy load capacities. Making sure your tire pressure is within these suggested ranges will prolong the life of your tires, as well as increase your fuel mileage. To start testing out your Volkswagen’s tire pressure, first look to your provided tire inflation guide sticker. This is usually situated either on your door jam or the glove box. This data can also regularly be located in your VW’s owner's manual. Remove your tire valve stem cap, which should be able to rotate off by hand. If you have questions about Volkswagen’s wheel parts or components, the FCP Euro team and website are here for any support you require.

Now, pop in the tire pressure gauge on the stem securely and take off the tire pressure gauge in order to read the pressure. If your tire pressure is too high, carefully let some air out. Push on the valve stem with the pressure gauge until the reading is the same as your Volkswagen’s suggested pressure. If the tire pressure is still reading low, remember the difference between the reading and the suggested pressure. This is the quantity of air that you will have to add when you add air to your tire. Inspect all four of your VW’s tires. If any are reading lower than they should be, go to your local service station and add the correct amount air to bring your tires up what Volkswagen suggests. Take note that each time your gauge is put into your tire valve stem, a small amount pressure is released. Securely put in your gauge to reduce the amount of released pressure. Air that is lower than it they should be in your tires will wear out quicker and will get warmer while you drive your Volkswagen. If there is too much air in your tires, this will give you harder ride and your vehicle will not turn properly through corners. Your tires will decrease in pressure over time and can also lose air quicker when driving over you curbs or potholes. FCP Euro's capable and educated call center staff is always obtainable and ready to answer any questions you have or support you may need.
