Volkswagen Clutch and Flywheel Parts

Volkswagen is a universal auto leader and established brand name that focuses on quality driven automobiles featuring intuitive designs with long lasting consistency. VW has had three of their vehicles makes in the top 10-bestseller list in recent years and is still producing these award-winning cars. Whether it is VW Flywheel Parts or VW Clutch Pedal, FCP Euro has your model’s parts in stock. Their past has been created with decades of knowledge with highly developed standards in through manufacturing vehicles and products, and more specifically, clutch parts and components. The Volkswagen clutch, like any other clutch does over time, will wear out due to the pressing of it going in and out, which forces friction on the discs. Every time the clutch is pressed and the gears shift, this produces wear. Fr example, driving in the city brings about more wear than driving on the highway because of the constant stopping and starting when driving through short and signal ridden city streets. The clutch will eventually become faulty due to the disc friction creating excessive heat, forcing the clutch to burn. Your Volkswagen’s clutch needs to be replaced when starts to burn up or overheats on a regular basis. Over the years and mostly in older Volkswagen makes, there have been reported issues with the Volkswagen Jetta’s clutch slipping. There has not been a particular reason for this issue, but usually it has come from an oil or lubrication leak from the master or slave cylinder. The oil leaks out onto the clutch, which forces it to slip when you shift gears. The seals on these cylinders then start to wear out and leak fluids. FCP Euro has a wide selection of Volkswagen clutch parts and components, including an extensive supply of general Volkswagen parts.

Volkswagen Clutch Parts Online

The VW’s clutch disc can be taken off and washed up to fix this slipping issue, but the seals will have to be changed to keep it from occurring again. Some Volkswagen Jetta owners have had issues with their vehicle not shifting into reverse, resulting in a clutch issue. When the clutch wears it will not permit the vehicle to shift into reverse. This wear keeps the reverse from shifting due to the clutch not being totally released. As a Volkswagen Jetta owner, you can troubleshoot this issue by putting your VW in reverse when your vehicle is not running. If your VW moves a little when you try and start the engine, the clutch is worn out. If your vehicle does not move at all, this points to a transmission issue. FCP Euro's established and expert call center team is always easily reached for support or questions. If you are uncertain about which clutch part is needed for your Volkswagen, FCP has an endless collection for the VW brand.
