Saab Cooling System Parts

Saab was created out of Scandinavia, being born out of firm tradition of modernization and manufacturing. This resulted in forward thinking solutions and vehicles built on a high opinion for the natural world. Saab vehicle parts allow for all Saabs with their original parts, within the same customs for innovation and advanced designs. Saab has more than 50 years in the industry and with that a vast amount of experience and technical know-how in all of their products and, even in their cooling parts and components. Your Saab’s water pump is imperative to its cooling system. Your water pump is controlled by your Saab’s engine and manages the coolant flow from your radiator to the engine and then back again. When a water pump starts to become faulty, it has to be fixed or replaced in order to shield your vehicle's engine and cooling assembly. If your water pump becomes damaged it will show some noticeable symptoms that you can look for though. Overheating, unusual sounds, and coolant leakage, are all warning signs that your water pump is on its way out. The first thing you can do to test this is to inspect below the vehicle for any green puddles. Green puddles will mean you have a coolant leak. Open your Saab’s hood and find the water pump. Your water pump will be close to the radiator and is linked to the radiator with a hose. It also has a pulley system and a belt. FCP Euro has a wide selection of Saab cooling parts and components, including all parts for Saab’s vehicle line up.

At this point, look at your Saab’s the water pump for any signs of coolant a leak. Inspect your water pump, its radiator hoses, and radiator, carefully, for symptoms of any leaks. Pay close attention to your Saab’s temperature, as well. A temperature gauge that goes into the high level area and a vehicle that is constantly overheating points to a water pump issue. A similar warning sign is when your Saab’s air conditioner all of a sudden stops operating and that starts to blow hot air. Water pumps have both inner and outer shaft bearings that secure the impeller shaft. They have factory sealed bearing cups that allow for consistent lubrication. When the shaft bearings decline, there will be too much play that will be put on the hub and pulley. Any wobbling in your Saab’s water pump pulley when your engine is running points to faulty shaft bearings. You can manually pull the pulley from side to side and up and down, to find any too much play in the shaft. Worn out shaft bearings mean that you have to get your water pump replaced.
