The Audi A5 is essentially a sporty coupe version of the Audi A4 built on the same B8 chassis. The Audi A5 was released in 2008 and grabbed attention with its sleek sport back lines. Audi A5 model line is now the third coupe in the Audi lineup along the existing models including the TT and supercar R8. The Audi A5 is available with engines including the 3.2 liter FSI and 2.0 liter 4-cylinder turbo model. An A5 also comes in coupe and convertible body types.The A5 compact coupe marks the comeback of Audi being in the coupe segment with the Audi 80 being the last in 1996. This stylish coupe is based on the Audi MLP platform; in the US its available as a coupe and four door sport back in other countries. The Audi A5 takes a lot of the unique features from the A4 with the LED running lights being one of them introduced for the 2010 model year. There are 3 trim levels for Audi including Premium, Premium Plus and fully optioned Prestige models.
