Saab has always been cherished for their quality in all of their products and vehicles, and even their lighting parts and components. Replacing a broken or faulty bulb in your Saab is about as simple as replacing a light bulb at your house. Carry out this easy procedure and get rid of the frustration of getting a ticket for a not having a brake light. The first thing to do it figure out which how the bulb needs to be replaced. On some Saab models the lens or the red or white plastic piece, has to be unscrewed from the exterior and on other makes you can only get to the bulb from inside of your trunk. If there are not any screws on the lens though, you can presume that the bulb has to be replaced from interior. Regularly, there will be a cover that has to be taken off in order to get to the bulb. There are also numerous tabs, screws, or knobs that are holding the plastic cover in its spot. Unscrew the lens on the outside of the light or remove the plastic cover from inside the trunk in order to get to the bulb. FCP Euro has a roomy inventory of Saab lighting parts and components, including all parts for Saab’s vehicles.

After unscrewing the bulb, you will have to press in and rotate it at the same time. Clean the connection with a wire brush or wipe it with a rag if there is any debris. Screw in your new bulb into the socket and push in and rotate it at the same time, just like before. Line up the small raised bumps on the base of your bulb in order to screw it in properly. Replace the lens or plastic cover and inspect your work by pushing on your brake pedal and turning on the headlights. Have a helper watch to see if the new bulb is working correctly. The police can pull you over for dead light bulbs and give you a 'fix-it' ticket. When this happens, you have a certain amount of time to get your light replaced. When you have fixed the light, you can drive to the police station and show them you have fixed and to have your ticket cleared. You may have to pay a processing fee, but it is a much smaller amount than if you did not fix it in the proper amount of time.
