BMW Clutch Kit Parts
Quality is one of the most notable aspects to BMW and has an overwhelming product line, which has pushed them to be one of the most sought after brands, and even with their clutch kit parts and components. The clutch is a central part of a BMW and fitting it is one of the most intricate operations you can attempt. It is almost the equivalence of replacing the engine itself. The method will necessitate hours of uninterrupted time from you. The first thing you need to do when replacing it is to connect your BMW’s battery and then jack it up. Detach your BMW's exhaust system, driveshaft and shifter from the transmission. Remove the slave cylinder from the side of the transmission, and then detach the backup lamp switch. Unbolt the transmission from the engine block using Torx sockets ranging from E6 to E16. You are now ready to take off the transmission from your BMW’s engine. Make sure that it is supported by the floor jack. Then detach the flywheel bolts and pull the flywheel out with a wrench or breaker bar. Disconnect the throw-out fork from the transmission and pull it free and put in place the new pivot piece. Detach the bolts that connect the old bearing guide tube to the transmission and remove the tube to reveal the main shaft seal. If you have questions about your BMW’s clutch kit products, the FCP Euro team is here for any support you may need.

Take out the seal and scour out the inside of the bore where it was held. Then install the new seal, making sure that it is fitted properly in place. Grease the new bearing guide tube with white lithium grease and install it on top of the new main shaft seal. Attach the new throw out bearing on the throw out arm, and the arm to the transmission. Remove the flywheel bearing from the crankshaft with a bearing puller and replace it with a new one. Install the new flywheel onto the engine with a torque wrench and flywheel lock. Install the clutch disc using a clutch alignment tool placed in the center of the pilot bearing. Place the pressure plate on the flywheel, compressing the clutch disc in the procedure. Strengthen the plate to the proper torque, and then remove the clutch alignment tool. Reconnect the transmission to the engine, making sure it stays balanced on the jack the whole time. Attach the Torx bolts to the transmission; double-checking to make sure that it is properly protected.
