About BMW 635CSi

The 635CSi is a vehicle that produced by BMW and made available to the United States market from 1985 through 1989 (although previously available in international markets). It was made during the first generation of 6 series (known as the E24), and was a replacement for the 633CSi in the US. The 635CSi's engine had a larger displacement of 3.4L, and although that only brought around one additional horsepower, torque output was significantly increased. The 635CSi was now rated at 182 horsepower and 214 ft-lbs of torque. The 6 series were all 2 door cars, referred to as luxury sport coupes. At the time, the 6 series was the car to have. With a 6 series, one could have a high performance sports car while retaining the elegance, beauty, and luxury comfort of a BMW.
